These Terms and Conditions apply to the Ridewave Refer a Friend program (the Program). By creating, sharing or using a referral link, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Program
The Program allows eligible customers to share a unique Ridewave referral link with friends and family. An eligible referred friend may receive A$75 off their first eligible Ridewave e-bike or e-trike purchase. Subject to these Terms, the person who shared the referral link may receive A$75 Ridewave Store Credit after the referred order has been delivered and confirmed as eligible.
The Program is for personal, non-commercial use in Australia. It is not an affiliate, reseller or paid-advertising program.
2. Eligibility
To participate, you must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid Australian email address.
To receive Ridewave Store Credit, the referrer must have, or create, a Ridewave customer account using the same email address used to create their referral link.
A referred friend must be a new Ridewave customer who has not previously completed an order with Ridewave. The referral discount is available only for the referred friend’s first eligible e-bike or e-trike purchase made through the referral link or its associated offer.
3. Friend offer
An eligible referred friend will receive A$75 off their first eligible Ridewave e-bike or e-trike purchase when the applicable referral offer is correctly applied at checkout.
The offer applies only to eligible products or collections displayed in the referral offer or at checkout. It does not apply to accessories, spare parts, gift cards, shipping, delivery charges, taxes or other excluded items.
Unless Ridewave expressly states otherwise, the referral offer cannot be combined with another discount code, promotional offer, cashback offer or other store credit promotion.
4. Referrer reward
The referrer will receive A$75 Ridewave Store Credit for each eligible referred friend order. An order is eligible only after it has been delivered, paid in full and confirmed by Ridewave as not cancelled, refunded, charged back, fraudulent, duplicated or otherwise ineligible.
Ridewave Store Credit will be added to the eligible referrer’s Ridewave customer account within a reasonable time after the order is confirmed as eligible. Store Credit is not cash, cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for cash, and may be used only through the customer account to which it is issued.
Unless otherwise stated when the Store Credit is issued, it does not expire. Any applicable expiry date or material redemption restriction will be clearly displayed before or when the Store Credit is issued.
If a referred order is later cancelled, refunded, charged back, found to be fraudulent or otherwise becomes ineligible, Ridewave may cancel, remove or adjust any related Store Credit.
5. Sharing your referral link
You may share your referral link privately with genuine friends and family who may be interested in Ridewave products.
You must not publish or promote a referral link through coupon, deal, cashback, voucher or loyalty-reward sites; paid advertising; spam; unsolicited messages; misleading claims; or any commercial channel without Ridewave’s prior written permission.
One referred purchase may be attributed to only one referrer. Where more than one referral link or offer is used, Ridewave’s tracking records and reasonable determination will apply.
6. Prohibited activity
You must not create self-referrals or attempt to obtain rewards through false accounts, multiple email addresses for the same person, fake or cancelled orders, automated activity, misleading conduct, unauthorised use of referral links, or any other fraudulent activity.
Ridewave may withhold, decline, cancel or reverse a discount or Store Credit, and may suspend or remove access to the Program, where we reasonably believe that these Terms have been breached or the Program has been misused.
7. Changes, suspension and end of the Program
Ridewave may amend, suspend or end the Program, its offers, eligible products or these Terms at any time, as permitted by law. We may do this, for example, to prevent fraud, respond to operational or legal requirements, or change our promotional activity.
Changes will apply from the date they are published or otherwise communicated. They will not affect a reward that has already been confirmed as eligible, except where the reward was obtained through fraud, error, misuse or a breach of these Terms.
8. Privacy
Ridewave collects and uses personal information to operate the Program, create and track referral links, process eligible rewards, prevent fraud and communicate with participants. Our handling of personal information is described in the Ridewave Privacy Policy.
9. Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
